Zhu Xiangqian was born on November 19, 1972, in the place of origin of Taiji Quan, China, Wen county, Chen Jia Gou village. His father, Zhu Tiancai, member of China’s inauguralcohort of non-material cultural inheritors – Taijiquan’s iconic representative, world renowned Taiji grandmaster, international martial arts instructor, national martial arts 9th ​​dan level, and one of Chen family Taijiquan’s "Four Buddha Warriors (Vajrapani)". Zhu Xiangqian, at the age of five, under the careful tuelage of his father, began learning his family’s Chen family Taijiquan. After more than thirty years of diligent practice and profound insights, he mastered the old and new frame of Chen family Taiji routines, broadsword, sword, double broadsword, spear, as well as push hands and grappling techniques,becoming the 12th generation instructor  of Chenjiagou Taijiquan.
He is an internationally renowned Taiji master. Currently, Zhu Xiangqian is the President of the Singapore Tiancai Taiii Quan Association, technical directorof the Singapore Chen Family Taiji Quan Association, founder of the Singapore Zhu Xiangqian Taiji Kung Fu Centre, head coach of the Chenjiagou Tiancai Taiji Academy, advisor to the Malaysian Chen Family Taiji Quan Association, honorary instructor of the Hong Kong Chenjiagou Taiji Association, honorary instructor of South Korea’s Daejeon Martial Arts Association and an honorary instructor of United States’ Lee Ka Po Martial Arts School.
 

During his athletic career, Zhu Xiangqian participated in numerous county, city, provincial, and international level Taiji competitions, exchanges, and performances, receiving unanimous commendations. In 1991, representing Wen County in a provincial level competition, he won gold medal and was simultaneously appointed as a Taiji coach by the Henan province Wen County Taiji Academy. Subsequently, Master Zhu Xiangqian was invited on numerous occasions to Xi'an, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hebei, Jiangxi and Hong Kong to conduct Chen Family Taijiquan training classes. 

During his time in Chenjiagou, Taiji enthusiasts from the UK, Japan, South Korea and other overseas countries, visited Chenjiagou to learn from Master Zhu Xiangqian. He hadserved as a Taiji coach for several years. In 1995, at the invitation of South Korea’s the Daejeon Martial Arts Association, Master Zhu Xiangqian traveled abroad for the first time, to South Korea to teach Taijiquan for three months. He taught nearly a hundred students and received recognition and high commendation from the South Korean Taiji community, making an outstanding contribution to the dissemination of Chinese Taiji culture. Subsequently, in 1997, he visited Hong Kong several times to hold short-term Taiji training courses and was accorded as a permanent Taiji instructor by the Hong Kong Chenjiagou Taiji Research Association. 
 

In 1998, Master Zhu Xiangqian was engaged by the Malaysian Taiji Federation. To propagate traditional Taiji culture, he embarked on a teaching journey to Southeast Asia, thus beginning a long overseas teaching career. During his eight years in Malaysia, Master Zhu traveled to and taught in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Kelantan, Ipoh, Johor, and other places, accumulating rich teaching experience. During these eight years, he collaborated with local Taiji associations to hold countless Taiji training courses. Thousands of people learned and fell in love with the traditional Chinese culture of Taijiquan through Master Zhu Xiangqian's personal demonstrations and explanations. Some students even made promoting Taijiquan their lifelong. Meanwhile, Master Zhu Xiangqian led his students to participate in Malaysian and international Taiji competitions every year, achieving excellent results.
 

In 2005, Master Zhu Xiangqian was invited to teach Taijiquanin Singapore, and in the same year, he registered his own martial arts school, Zhu Xiangqian Taiji Kung Fu Centre. During this period, Master Zhu Xiangqian also traveled numerous times to Italy, Czech Republic, France, Australia,United States, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, and other places to teach Chen family Taijiquan and promote Taiji culture. Together with his father, Zhu Tiancai, he built channels forpropagation of China’s traditional Taijiquan worldwide, becoming an ambassador for spreading Taiji culture. 

Master Zhu Xiangqian's Chen family Taijiquan wasch aracterized by its fluidity and firmness, alternating between slowness like weaving and rapidity like lightning, encompassing accumulation and explosion of force, forming his own unique brand. His flexible and varied teaching methods of practical application, building upon the foundation laid by his father, Grand Master Zhu Tiancai, together with his own unique insights, are highly favored and adored by students. To date, tens of thousands of Taiji enthusiasts from around the world had become Master Zhu Xiangqian's students, learning and exchanging knowledge through various means. This traditional Chinese martial art is both easy to understand and infinitely profound. Through Master Zhu Xiangqian's meticulous explanations and instruction, guiding from elementary to complex, more and more people are beginning to practice and fall in love with Taijiquan, experiencing the significant changes it brings to their lives, from physical health well-being to mental peace and joy. Now, Master Zhu Xiangqian’s name has become a hallmark of Chenfamily Taijiquan in Singapore; he is not only a renowned Taiji instructor in

Singapore but also an internationally renowed Taiji master.
